It seems ironic that cooking and eating can be associated with fat loss. Even more ironic is the fact that something known as Metabolic Cooking can help members burn fat while they continue to eat great-tasting food. So does Metabolic Cooking really work?

What is Metabolic Cooking All About?
As far as before-and-after pictures go, the ones that Karine Losier are not too convincing, in our opinion. She already had a great body before meeting Dave Ruel who taught her to cook for fat loss. Obviously, Karine did not like her body so much that she wanted to try a new way of eating. This French Canadian with a Masters Degree in Psychology got her inspiration from her clients who could not lose weight but didn’t know why. They tried many things and were depressed and desperate about their frustrations of trying to shed fat. Dieting only made their experiences worse.


How Was Metabolic Cooking Formed?
What happened next was a romantic cooking story. Losier met David Ruel who taught her some important truths about cookbooks.

There are 3 main problems with them: One is that even healthy-eating cookbooks are filled with ingredients. that don’t help you lose fat. The ingredients used are all wrong and cause fat gain.

Cook book lovers with any knowledge about healthy eating all say that these books contain a lot of flour and grains. Their ratio of simple carbs is unacceptable.



Reasons Why Metabolic Cooking Was Created
Another factor she criticizes is that many of the recipes in typical healthy cookbooks are hard to make. They are too complicated and are so unnecessarily. Consumers like the look of a dish but may not have the large amount of time needed to make them, no matter how tasty the final dish is. Lastly, a cycle is perpetuated in which individuals consume the same few dishes all the time, causing extreme boredom and makes successful dieting way more difficult.

Losier’s Metabolic Cooking answers all of these issues by providing readers and amateur chefs with uncomplicated and lots of beautiful recipes. We were impressed while trying out sample of recipes from the Metabolic Cooking cookbook. They were formatted like recipe cards, at least online, and showed us exactly how simple cooking to burn fat really can be.

There were a couple of steps for each recipe. The only downside we could see was that there can be too many ingredients sometimes. Losier lists a lot of mouth-watering but simple dishes, including muffins, which we never expected to see in a fat-loss menu.


What Are Some Dishes Inside Metabolic Cooking?
There were dishes containing vegetables, chicken, fish, and other staples. What really interested us as food lovers, cooks, and reviewers was that many of the recipes have high protein and either lack wheat and dairy or limit those considerably. Many of the recipes we read can be followed for someone with Celiac disease or sensitivity to gluten and dairy. The main point, though, is that people should be eating more lean protein which is provided in the form of lean meat and other animal sources, nuts, and protein powder.
